Over 25 years ago Trina Limpert, the CEO & Founder of RizeNext Corporation, made one of the best decisions of her life switching her degree from architectural engineering to computer science. Working graveyards at Hill Air Force Base she went to school learning the amazing world of technology and its incredible application in solving the worlds largest problems. What concerned her was when looking around she was the only woman. Sparked interest in why this was the case, she wrote her thesis paper on why women should go into computer science and simultaneously began her life long journey to see more diversity within the workforce.
Since these first moments of awareness she has had an incredible technology career working for companies Novell, Oracle and eBay. Throughout her tech career she also served on steering committees, on employee resource groups, volunteer and social impact organizations eventually taking the role as eBay's Global President of Women in IT overseeing diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives for 1500 members in 17 countries. This lead to her performing a broader role in conducing diversity strategy at eBay working across asian, black, latin, veteran, LGTBQ+, parenting and disabled employee groups. She then moved to Oracle leading strategic accounts within their customer experience consulting organization. In her years in technology she recognized that the expertise she had gained in leading large scale enterprise change management should be applied within the DEI and lead her to then starting her own consulting practice.
